Church Fun
Several months ago, we were producing a pictorial directory for our church. We were having trouble getting people to sign up to to have their pictures taken. So we made this little video. It worked like a charm. Enjoy! (Many thanks to Jim McCardell for shooting and editing it.)

Excellent, Mark. The whole family enjoyed this. It even momentarily preempted DAL vs. PHX!
bw - unfortunately for those of us in the Detroit area, Dwayne Wade, Shaq and Miami preempted the rest of the NBA playoffs.

Hey, FYI, this is what my elders put in the bulletin last week, verbatim:
"CLOSURE. Eastside will be closed for the summer. In response to the
numerous questions about how we think we will staff the various church activities for the summer, we have decided to not press the issue and will indeed close the church for June and July. Communion emblems will be
made available in the foyer on Sundays from 10:00 to 11:00 for those whose consciences will not allow them to completely shut down the “church side” of their lives for two months.
Just Kidding! Yes, we (and hopefully you) believe that what we are all about is a year-round, life-long effort. We will be going full speed this summer, and we ask you to commit to being a part of that. We acknowledge that summer is the time of vacations for all of us, but when we are not traveling, we must continue to be a part of our weekly activities both in attendance and
service/leadership – even in the summer.
Good to see you at RC and laugh again, brother... call me when you come to the mountans to see that grandbaby!
